A taut, complex thriller about down-on-his-luck Mitch (Rob Lowe), a struggling Chicago actor who's eking out a living as a cab driver. His life takes a shocking turn when he agrees to help his friend Lou (Joe Mantegna) solve a serious personal problem, one that involves Mitch taking on the job of hitman. But the deeper that Mitch gets tangled in Lou's scheme of deceit and lies, the clearer it becomes that he's been marked as the fall guy. With time running out and the situation stacked against him, Mitch must extract himself from a dangerous conspiracy and expose the plot's true culprit before his own life and reputation take a final and fatal dive.
