The dirty underbelly of the “American Idol” phenomenon is ripped wide open in a hilarious send-up of the recording industry. Two regular Joes, Martin (Pat Healy) and Clarence (Kene Holliday), get caught up in the fever of a record industry talent scouting scam. Filmed with hidden cameras, real people ‘auditioned’ and interacted with lead actors and unsuspecting musicians. The result is a documentary-styled film blended with a fictional story in a truly unique comedy.
