Going Nomad

Thirty-something El Cid (his late mother’s favorite Charlton Heston role) Rivera has never ventured beyond Manhattan, nor have his childhood buddies who get together to bemoan their humdrum lives at the same bar every day. But in the middle of the night, El Cid, in a vintage 70s Continental, is free, roaming the 900 miles of blacktop covering New York City as part of a group called the Asphalt Nomads. Having no destination, for El Cid its all about the journey, and the myth of the open road.
