Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.: The Laughing Man

This film compiles several episodes of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, offering a feature-length retelling of Section 9’s investigation of a mysterious hacker known as the Laughing Man. Six years after the Laughing Man’s kidnapping of a pharmaceutical company CEO, Section 9 is approached with new leads on the case. But the Laughing Man is just one player in a vast and dangerous conspiracy that will pit Section 9 against corruption at the highest levels of the government.
