Director Susan Seidelman (Desperately Seeking Susan) returns with a charmingly quirky mystery set against the gorgeous backdrop of Barcelona. Judy Davis gives a strong lead performance as Cassandra Reilly, an American expatriate writer living meagerly in Spain. A mysterious woman (Marcia Gay Harden) enlists Cassandra to find her missing husband. During her quest Cassandra encounters a number of surprises (to start with, the woman’s husband isn’t male), and finds herself gathering the strength to deal with her own issues.
