"Elvis gets out of the army and what does he do? Sing, baby, sing." - Apollo Guide

G.I. Tulsa McLean (Elvis Presley) bets it all on love in this singing and dancing classic extravaganza. Tulsa and his buddies are saving their pennies to start a nightclub when they get out of the Army, but bet it all on a hard-to-get cabaret dancer Lili (Juliet Prowse). Tulsa must now seduce her to win back his cash, but falls head over heels and tries to call off the game.

G.I. Blues is a 1960 Elvis Presley musical motion picture played as a romantic comedy. It was filmed while Presley was fulfilling his military service obligation with the United States Army in West Germany during the height of the Cold War. It was filmed at Paramount's Hollywood studios and on location in Germany.
