Fortunes of War

Peter Kernana (Matt Salinger) is a courageous American relief worker in war-ravaged Thailand. Burned-out and desperate for cash, Kernana is lured into a scheme to smuggle a million dollars worth of medicine over the border to a brutal warlord’s jungle outpost in Cambodia. With his long-time friend, Cambodian refugee Khoy Thoun (Haing S. Ngor) and a beautiful strong willed French Red Cross worker who just happens to be married to the scheme’s mastermind, Kernan and his renegade crew soon find themselves outnumbered in a bullet-filled race to deliver the drugs and make it home safe and sound.
