Set in California, this is an intimate story that traces the intense summer romance between middle-class Katie (Megan Wilson) and cute and very cool juvenile delinquent Boyd (Brian Vaughan). It’s an intense portrait of young lovers as their worlds collide: the joyrides, the late night bonfires, family conflict peppered through the cycle of incarceration and reunion. A contemporary story of love, capturing a moment in time when two youngsters looking for love manage to leave an indelible mark on each other.
