The Failures

From the director of "River's Edge," two teens tackle anti-depressants, high school, puppy love and darkness in a twisted, suicidal comedy. Lilly (Ashley Johnson) is more than your typical Hollywood goth. She is taken to embalming, car wrecks, and now her latest challenge: assisted suicide. When she falls in love with the pill-popping William (Chad Lindberg) she tries to help him reach his goal of offing himself. Its a complicated world, being a teenager, and these two kids are just doing their best in their own bizarre and morbid fashion.
