A young woman, Kate (Zooey Deschanel), travels home for the funeral of the family patriarch and in the process attempts to make sense of her wacky family. Three generations of the Collins clan include a failed porn actor, a rebellious lesbian, suicidal mother and dim-witted brother. All are at each other throats as lives collide at the foot of a coffin in this oddball black comedy.
