A dark and comedic look at passion gone wrong. 'El Ortodoncista' is the story of one man's journey into madness. When the circus comes to town, Ortodoncista, the village orthodontist, meets his match in Appalachian Joe, a carnie with the freak show. When he sees Joe's hideously crooked and inbred grill, he knows he most do something to save the poor hillbilly. Operation after operation fails, and Ortdoncista grows more and more reclusive, as his obsession with Joe grows to dangerous proportions.
