Bruce Dern (Oscar nominee for Coming Home) stars in Rob Nilsson’s exhilarating drama set on the beautiful and rugged trails of Mt. Tamalpais. Wes Holman (Dern), a once-promising runner unfairly banned from competition, returns to his boyhood home in Northern California and sets out to recapture his lost glory. Despite opposition from race organizers, he begins to train for the most grueling foot race in America, the Cielo-Sea. Wes’ personal obsession with winning comes to a startling (and stirring) conclusion.
