Earth and Water

Twenty-year-old Nicolas and Constantina, already a beauty at eighteen, fall in love at first sight. But the idyllic affair comes to an abrupt halt when Constantina’s upper class family, aware that she is pregnant with Nicolas’s child, sends her off to the city to have the baby. In a broken-hearted trance, Nicolas wanders into the same city, unaware that his love is there. They are finally reunited, but soon learn that they and the world have changed and rekindling and sustaining their love will be harder than anything they have ever done before.
