Dying To Get In: Undocumented Immigration at the U.S. Mexican Border

"The gauntlet of death" was how award-winning director Brett Tolley came to refer to the U.S.-Mexico border where illegal crossings have become more terrifying and frequent. Tolley travels deep into the Arizona desert, interviewing under-funded border guards and the immigrants, desperate for survival and hope for a better future. As Tolley follows his subjects on their harrowing journeys northward, he sheds new and revelatory light on a most sensitive issue in U.S.-Mexico relations.
