Co-writer/director E. Nivas takes on the Tamil hit Dil: the result is a tense, violent Bollywood actioner. Rising star Vivek Oberoi is Uday, a poor but idealistic young man who enrolls for police training. He comes up against a corrupt police inspector (Atul Kulkarni) who challenges him at every turn. Uday fights to maintain his ideals and rise within the police department, but finds that his enemy is persistent (and very well-connected).
