"...an infectious, spry quality... amusing characters, strong thesping and taut situational humor." -- Variety
So it’s finally come to this. Slacker and ne’er-do-well Jerry has finally hit rock bottom, living out of his car. But before he can collapse into a total funk, he literally trips over good fortune in the form of a crotchety old lady named Alma and her dog. Now that her hip’s broken, Alma needs somebody to take care of her and her pooch and when the old woman’s daughter Helen offers Jerry the job, he sees a lucrative piece of cake in his future. But it turns out his duties are far more demanding and complicated than he could have ever imagined and the leash he’s tied himself to is growing shorter and shorter and about to be yanked.
