This mind-bending example of future-forward animation is a post-Soviet cult classic, and follows a Budapest street gang that chances on the ability to time-travel. The gang hits on an ingenious plan: Zip back to the Ice Age, slaughter and bury a few mammoths, then return to reap major profits from the prehistoric oil deposits. They hit the jackpot, but the West's oil-obsessed leaders (with Osama bin Laden thrown in for good measure!) promptly descend on the gang's racket.

Nyócker! or The District! is a 2004 Hungarian caricaturistic animated film directed by Áron Gauder. Its original title is a shortened colloquial form of nyolcadik kerület, the eighth district of Budapest, also known as Józsefváros, including an infamous neighbourhood where the movie takes place. It is sometimes labelled as the Hungarian South Park.
