This intriguing, dream-like Bollywood film begins with a familiar premise – small-town boy goes to Mumbai in search of fortune. The hero is Ram Saran (Manoj Rajpal), a simple man who finds his calling as an auto mechanic. He soon attracts a newspaper columnist (Tabu) who, impressed with his straight-forward honesty, devotes several columns to him. But Ram Saran is quickly drawn into a world where no one is what they seem, even those closest to him.
