Caribbean music icon Pacho Rada seems a character lifted from the fantastical pages of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel. The 93-year-old accordion player journeys along Colombia’s coast in an inspirational voyage to discover the heart of his country's ancient traditions of song and music. Rada considers his native Colombia's complex diversity and the fragility of its beautiful indigenous cultures torn apart by poverty and violence. As he does, this lush and haunting landscape also takes on the aura of a realm of legends and mystifying music.
