The Day The Earth Stopped

Josh Myron is about to begin an enlightening and adventurous journey when hundreds of massive intergalactic robots appear in all of the major world capitals. While working for a government agency Myron and Commander Prewitt discover what seem to be two humans, a man and a woman named "Sky" near mysterious aircraft. After attempting to interrogate Sky, Myron discovers that they have come to earth to prevent it from becoming a threat to other in the future. The world is becoming a danger. It is soon discovered that the earth is slowing its axis and will stop rotating within hours unless Sky can see that there is value in human life. The agency is becoming more and more hostile towards their two alien prisoners as they will not help them with the surrounding robots. After being let go for not cooperating Myron returns to save Sky after an interrogation gone wrong. Myron must race against time to show Sky why there is value in human life and what importance humans have on this earth before it is too late.
