Dark Side of the Sun

Rick (Brad Pitt) is a young American searching for the cure to a rare skin disease that will kill him if he is exposed to light. When his father (Guy Boyd) takes him to Yugoslavia in search of help, Rick falls for an American woman, Frances (Cheryl Pollack). As their love grows, Rick finds a healer who can offer him three days of a normal life before dying, instead of the mask he must wear to hide his face. Knowing that their love can never last beyond three days, each secretly hopes for a miracle…a miracle, which never comes.
