Dakota Skye (Eileen Boylan) is a typical high school student with a decidedly atypical ability. Able to see the truth in any lie she hears, Dakota has retreated into teenage apathy. The affable and honest stoner Jonah (Ian Nelson) seems to be the perfect cure to Dakota's malaise. Pity he's her boyfriend's best friend. A smart and even-handed debut by filmmaker John Humber, aided by Chad Shonk's clever (and not cutesy) script and three-dimensional performances by all.
