Three unlikely friends, each of them yearning for a better life, but absolutely clueless as to how to get it. Iwano was once a promising boxer who now lets businessmen use him as a “Human Punching Bag” to release their frustrations. Maru should be teaching history, but works in his uncle’s hat store. Sada passes out leaflets on the street, while harboring a secret desire to fix up an old boat and head out to sea. Comically chasing their desires, this likable trio finally realize that while achieving dreams may be harder than they thought, the human spirit and the value of friendship endures, no matter what.
