Filmmaker Sean Ellis expands his Oscar-nominated short film to feature length, crafting a nocturnal, romantic story that balances dreamlike visuals with juvenile humor. Art student Ben Willis (Sean Biggerstaff) suffers insomnia after a breakup. He takes a night shift job at a supermarket, where he discovers he has the power to stop time. Cashback is the name of two films directed by Sean Ellis: a 2004 short film and a 2006 feature film. Both were produced by Lene Bausager, starring Sean Biggerstaff, Michelle Ryan and Emilia Fox. The feature was released by Gaumont in late 2006. Left Turn Films produced both films.
