A cult horror milestone and it's easy to see why. When the fiancée of transplant surgeon Dr. Bill Cortner (Jason Evers) is decapitated in a car accident, he keeps her head alive while he searches for an ideal replacement body. Cortner's obsession grows increasingly deranged, while, behind the locked doors of his lab, mysterious creatures -- products of failed past experiments -- grow restless to escape and wreak havoc.

A scientist develops a means to keep human body parts alive. When he unexpectedly must use his discovery on someone close to him, events do not go as planned.
