Birth of Love

French New-Wave cinema continues its search for the meaning of life in an exploration of male friendship, love, and adultery during the last days of the Persian Gulf War. Two friends, both in mid-life crises, are both distracted by beautiful women. Paul runs from his predicitble family life into the arms of various younger women. Marcus desperately seeks to reunite with his love who has abandoned him. They both find themselves lost in the labyrinth of lust and desire as the women in their lives confuse them to no end.
