The Bench

Life's hit rock bottom for Kaj (the fantastic Jesper Christensen), who squanders his days drinking in a public square. But Kaj gets a wake-up call one day when he notices his daughter, Liv (Stine Holm Joensen) moving into an apartment near his own. Just divorced from an abusive husband, and a single mother to young Jonas (Marius Sonne Janischefska), Liv braces for a hard road ahead. Slowly, Kaj and Liv's relationship warms, and soon it seems the father and daughter might have a renewed lease on life and their relationship, if only they're able to banish their past demons.
