Based on a play by the author of The Philadelphia Story, this funny and racy comedy finds successful publisher Leslie Howard torn by his feelings between two women. One (Myrna Loy) is an affluent society woman, and the other (Ann Harding) is an artist who represents a freer life. Made at the height of Hollywood’s notorious pre-Code era, this film is surprisingly frank in its attitudes on love, sex, and marriage.
