A surreal love story between teenage circus artist Lola (Rebecka Liljeberg) and the bear Misha (Sergei Bodrov, Jr.), who one day transforms into a human being. Life in a Russian traveling circus proves lonely for Lola and her existence is neither glamorous nor simple. As the troupe travels across Europe towards Germany, Lola and her bear grow closer in a magical-realist world until violence disrupts their fairy-tale life.
