Based on the brilliant music of Tchaikovsky and the beloved fairytale, Barbie stars as Odette; the young baker's daughter who follows a unicorn into an Enchanted Forest. She is transformed into a swan by an evil wizard who is waging was against a Fairy Queen. Odette is human by night, but swan by day and struggles to save herself, the kingdom, and her newfound love, Prince Daniel.

Barbie of Swan Lake is a 2003 direct-to-video Barbie film directed by Owen Hurley. It is the third in the Barbie film series of computer animated Barbie films, and features the voice of Kelly Sheridan as Barbie. The story is loosely adapted from the Swan Lake ballet and features the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This is the third Barbie film narrated by Barbie to her little sister Kelly and is also the second to be based on a Tchaikovsky ballet, the first being Barbie in the Nutcracker.
