This cheerfully smutty (and surprisingly tender) adult comedy is an intimate look at the life and work of Arturo Domingo (Melik Malkasian), the “Kubrick of porn.” Though notorious for artfully-crafted adult versions of Hollywood blockbusters, Arturo’s star is beginning to wane. Arturo seizes on a Portland, Oregon retrospective as a final chance at both artistic redemption and a reunion with the love of his life. Malkasian crafts a likeable and unforgettable creation in Arturo, and the supporting cast are equally strong.
