Anton The Flyer

A tender, warmhearted coming-of-age drama about 10-year-old Anton (Jacob Krarup) who determines to fly a self-built airplane to the heavens, and reunite with his deceased jet-pilot father. Anton spends his time in the garage, sprucing up a full-sized plane, preparing for the moment when he'll take off, and join his father who, his mother tells him, gives airplane rides to the angels. With the efforts of his friends and family, Anton makes hesitant steps to move on, to come to terms with his father's death -- a challenge that proves as daunting as the most fanciful flights of his imagination.
