Accidental Hero

Across the bay from San Francisco and another world away, lies a working class town called Union City, not a place where you’d expect much public speaking to be going on. Inside James Logan High School, led by their coach Tommie Lindsey, is a team of students possessed of an unbridled passion to be the best. They are working just as hard as the basketball team, writing and performing oratory skits in an academic sport called “Forensics.” Their goal is nothing less than the state championship in this moving and uplifting documentary.
