The stark California desert is the setting for this intriguing drama of thievery, murder and greed. Working undercover at a judge’s office, a Federal agent (Jeremy Davies) uncovers corruption and a shady land deal. A hitman (Chris O’Donnell) is paid a bag of cash to eliminate the agent. But the bag falls out of his hands, and quickly picks up momentum and notoriety as it passes through the lives of various residents of 29 Palms.
