Raw and riveting, this social drama examines life in a housing project that becomes a hotbed of racial tension after a white youth is found savagely beaten. As suspicions rise towards the neighborhood's Palestinian immigrants, the lives of young lovers Mei (Joy. K. Petersen), the victim's sister, and Shadi (Mohammed-Ali Bakier) are thrown in turmoil as Shadi discovers his brother was a culprit in the tragedy.
