What's this all about?

If you are a filmmaker and want to feature your short or feature film on Jaman, you can upload your movie one of two ways: either as a protected, downloadable file or as streaming Flash movie.

What's the difference between the two formats?

Downloadable files are available to download through the Jaman player.

Upload Format:		.mov .mp4 .wmv .avi .dv .asf .qt .mpeg (or any files that can be played back in QuickTime or Windows Media Player)
Size limit:		1GB - if your movie is larger than that contact us to submit it.
Playing time:		approx. 1hr
Resolution:		any - the higher the better
Upload:		In the Jaman player (details below)

Streaming movies play directly through a browser only on jaman.com.

Upload Format:		.avi .mov .qt .mpeg .mp4 .wmv .asf

Playing time:		depends on length, resolution, and format
Resolution:		Widescreen or standard resolution accepted

How is my content protected?

Jaman utilizes an advanced DRM system that is compatible with PCs and Macs that prevents unauthorized duplication and distribution of your movie once it has been downloaded.

1. Streaming Flash movie, available via any browser

This will be available as free streaming Flash on Jaman network.

2. Downloadable high def cinematic quality movie

Using the Jaman Player, you can offer your content for purchase, rental, or even freely distribute it. Your movie will be encoded as a high definition H.264 file, protected by encryption.
