. . . because we’re listening!
One of you ardent cinephiles in the Jaman community had the brilliant suggestion of posting your favorite films not found on the site yet so the crew at Jaman can see which titles are generating the most requests. Based on the clamoring for particular titles, we’ll work hard to get them on the site.
Any part of the world, in any language . . . share with us the names of movies and may be even a few words about why you’re crazy about them.
Jaman is keeping close tabs on all your very personal requests of what titles to add to the library so that you can enjoy them at home, or just about anywhere you have access to Jaman.
We’re already excited to see on the Forums a dizzying array of titles and genres you’re craving to see.

Harem suaré (1999) by Ferzan Ozpetek
I love Istanbul and want to go back --- “Hamam” is a sensual jaunt down memory lane for me. Also, there’s something intriguing about a Turkish filmmaker based out of Rome. Haven’t seen “Harem suare” and am just curious to see it.

I was just visiting the Forums for India and there's a huge pent-up demand for Telugu- and Tamil-language films.
Also, there were repeated (or at least singularly persuasive ;) ) requests for:
- Vanaja
- Om Shanti Om
- Taare Zameen Par
- Lagaan: Once Upon a Time in India

I'll second "City of God",
and add:
"El Orfanato" (good.lord.) ;
"Army Daze" (A huge 90s era hit in Singapore, and a good friend is in it...so there you go :) ) ;
"Just Another Love Story" ( 2007, Danish film, dark, dark, fab);
"Slasher" (2004 ? , John Landis directed....I saw this at the Jacksonville film festival years ago, and was amazed by how interesting used car sales experts are. no, really).

In a reply I joined in, on good family horror movies, without all the gore, my entry was Abott & Costello's "The Times of Their Lives",which has all the trappings of the horror movie including being puniished for witchcraft, saences, ghosts, none of the gore and lots of comedy. It is a classic for the ages; as well as a spooky delight for children of all ages and one that Jaman should include in it's already wonderfully extensive array of movies for every taste. So come on Jaman, give us yet another movie gem for us to enjoy! loversandangels.

maybe you should break this into 3 threads, 1 for movie requests, 1 for tv series requests, 1 for features request.
i would like to see a filter feature.
Suggested Filters:
stars, (i.e. "show me only 4 stars or better")
price ( i.e. "show me only free", "show me only 1.99 or less")
language (i.e. "show me only english as primary track")
views (i.e. "tivo" , "on-line", "download")
