I love the idea of Jaman but when I pay to rent a movie and the player tells me it's gonna take 3 months to download, well I dunno, i'm thinking I'm gonna not gonna pay Jaman any more money for now, maybe do something else and come back in a year and see how Jaman is doing. I know of course it (hopefully!) won't end up taking 3 months to download in the end, but I was hoping to actually relax and watch my download like, tonight, not in a few days time. I have a 10Mbps ADSL2+ connection so I figure it's not me but Jaman that needs to seriously look at increasing its bandwidth if it's gonna charge people real money for movies. Sorry, but Jaman tirckling at 60kbps down my 10,000kbps pipeline is just not worth it for me.

Your frustration is understable, zielwolf, Jaman is much faster than that for most users. Can I ask what country you're in, and if you're using Vista? There's a glitch in Vista that can affect Jaman download speeds (though I think it may have been resolved in the SP1 update).
Which movie are you trying to download? The jaman downloader is a P2P application... if it's a popular movie, chances are it's gonna be faster because you can download from multiple peers... if not, try leaving it on for a few days especially during times when internet traffic is less congested and see how that goes...
Am on same speed of connection with same speed of download - 10Mbs ADSL2+ connection, 53KB/s down. Have opened up the firewall on the router to let the traffic through, same on the machine, no hay nada. Very frustrating that Jaman.com is so poorly provisioned, bandwidth-wise.
