So you mean that the movie downloaded automatically from your wishlist, yeah? When you try to add it via File: Add Movies, what exactly happens when you select the file? Any sort of error message?

I've never tried to transfer a movie from a Mac to a Windows computer, so this is an interesting case. I wouldn't think the OS switch would matter though.

Yep, I had the file on my wish list and it downloaded via my Mac - but I'd like to transfer it to my laptop so I can hook it up to the TV to watch.

When I try File: Add Movie nothing happens - not even an error message. I can see the file but when I select it nothing happens.

Did you wait? It takes some time for the movie to be imported into Jaman. The movie did not showup in your Jaman library at all on the PC?

I did wait - and it doesn't show up in my library on my PC at all. The PC is on my list of authorized computers. Could it be because the films downloaded from my wishlist haven't been "rented" yet using one of my tickets?

Just to get any idea of where the issue might be, what happens if you download a free trailer on your Mac, transfer it to your PC, and then try to add it to the player? It's a hassle, I know, but a little experimentation and we'll figure out what's wrong.

Could it possibly be that the file doesn't have the proper file extension (.mp4)?

I downloaded a free trailer and that worked fine. I also tried importing some movies from my own collection that were stored on my Mac and those also worked fine. The file extension for the downloaded Jaman wishlist movies is also .mp4. I tried importing via my lan connection to the PC from the Mac directly from within the Jaman player and this didn't work either.

Hey jlaliber I think I ran into the same problem before! What happened was I transfer the .mp4 file before I rented it... so the workaround is for me to rent the movie on the computer where I downloaded the movie before transferring it to another computer!

tensaihoward...thanks - that's what I figured I needed to do - I'm just holding off using a ticket until I'm sure there's no other problem - I'd hate to have to download the file twice just to get it into Jaman on my other computer!
