It was the most amazing live performance I've ever witnessed
Of course it was: Yimou Zhang directed the whole darn thing! Even the still photographs from the opening ceremony were gorgeous.
The man lusts after a profusion of colors and it was on display with total and complete abandon in the choreography of the opening ceremony.
I keep thinking of the unfurling of multi-hued fabric in his film "Ju Dou" . . . .
yeah i saw it.... it was cool :]
I actually cried watching the final run and found myself clapping when the whole thing was finished. I loved it.
