new alice in wonderland!

tim burton is directing the new alice in wonderland (with johnny depp as the mad hatter!) and the first pictures look SO cool! http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/06/21/first-photos-tim-burtons-alice-in-wonderland-what-do-you-think/

i also found the old one on this site which is good/classic but am so glad tim burton is going back - i actually read that the new one is more of a sequel - Alice goes BACK to wonderland http://www.jaman.com/movie/Alice-Adventures-Wonderland/0A19-aD7S_oc/

the new one doesn't come out until March 2010 though! booo

anyone else excited?

Johnny Depp is trying to win that versatility award I guess. He used to be the tough guy with shows like 21 Jump Street. But as he gets older he likes these kids movie....with Willie Wonka and now the mad hatter. He's not a bad actor.

WOW you guys should definitely check out the trailer for Tim Burton's movie '9', coming out in September, if you haven't already. It's very 'Burton-esque', I think that says it all: creative, dark, mysterious.

As for Alice and Wonderland, I can't wait to see it. but I think it will be more about Alice than the Hatter (Johnny Depp), right? The Mad Hatter has a small role, at least he does in the original.

Tim Burton is a right-down film director!!! He manages with skill to create fabulous works. The stories are always full of magic, mystery. Manages to dream viewers, gives birth to stories and cinematic masterpieces.

I look forward to his new film!!!!
