Hi,
I was just wandering why this site is listed as a place with thousands of free movies when all I see is the option to either rent or buy. I don't have or want a credit card and I don't see the point of downloading the player for 2 free movies. What I did see the the option to upload and share movies with other people. So I was wondering if theirs anyone on this site who would be willing to share with me. If not that's cool too.
I myself feel dubbed as I just wanted to watch Tyler Perry ( Meet the Browns ) . I watch movies on moviesisters.com , but when I clicked on the one I wanted it for the frist time told me it wasn't available due to some infridgment issues. But like I said I've never had a problem with that website and yes their movies are ALL FREE, No hidden fees or credit card needed .
Hopefully by now, those of you curious to watch free streaming movies have discovered the page that aorin lists above. Thank you aorin for shining a light in the right direction!
In terms of paid versus free content: Big studios in Hollywood (and I'm betting Bollywood), filmmakers, film producers, etc., are not creating movies with the intention of providing free content. Otherwise, no one would call it the "movie business ." Services and products provided for free implies a non-profit model. And those that are provided for free without legal consent of owners and creators is a black market model.
We watch network television in the U.S. and consider it "free" but in reality it's an ad-supported model. At the end of the day, actors, directors, producers, gaffers, co-directors, writers (remember the 3-month strike?) . . . the entire film crew expects financial remuneration. And rightly so.
Naturally, audiences around the world are very curious to see professionally made movies and this means paid content. Now, audiences have the privilege of an increasing number of outlets to access movies that normally never see light of day in a theatre. You can see BOTH types of content on Jaman and depending on the title and agreement with the filmmaker/producer, it may be free or paid content.
Hope this clears up the fog a bit.
Please note: I visited the site that was referenced above, http://moviesisters.com/, and none of the links are active on the page. Perhaps it was a functioning site 5 months ago but it's not operational today.
