Will "rent only" movies ever be available to buy?

Are rentals ever "upgraded" to buyable movies? If so, it would be very helpful if members could be notified when a desired rental film becomes buyable.

The reason I'm asking is that I'm very interested in the BBC films, but they are available as rentals only. Being an American, I don't get to see many BBC films, even though I've heard a lot about them. While I'm grateful for the opportunity to rent them, I would love to add some of them to my collection!

So ... any chance of renegotiating the movie rights with the BBC at some point?

Hi Jombay,

This is not the typical request but I'll certainly forward it to the Jaman Product Development team.

Since the majority of our users has expressed a preference to rent films, most of the films found on Jaman are rent-able content.

However, thank you for letting us know that as an American viewer, you would appreciate being able to buy BBC content from Jaman.
