SAAWARIYA TEASER !!!

All I have to say is WOW!!

Get ready for the biggest of the year (and previous years) from the biggest director in all of India - Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Saawariya is set to hit the screens In November (DIWALI) and if one little teaser can evoke so much anticipation and beauty....then God knows what we'll experience with the feature.

I really can't wait for both the Music and the Film.

Looks absolutely beautiful. As always with SLB, the cinematography is stunning. Can't wait to see the film!

If you're new to Bhansali, check out Black http://www.jaman.com/a/video/0TxsON6rXv1Q/ and Khamoshi http://www.jaman.com/a/video/0dZMhvr87hg0/

Yeah, this looks to be like a mix between Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and Devdas (2002). We already know that SLB has been able to extract the very best from already seasoned actors (Manisha Koirala, Nana Patekar, Aishwarya Rai, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee) - but this will be his first experience working with complete debutants (albeit star children - Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor).

SLB is a magician when it comes to creating some of the most gorgeous sets. His films are a sight for eyes to savor and its music is for your ears to melt to.

I'm hoping we get another classic from the mastermine SLB. And the countdown begins.......

I don't know how to feel about this film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is such a mixed bag for me - Khamoshi is one the best films I've ever seen, and Devdas one of the worst. This one looks more like that latter in style than the former. But if the stylized elements are handled better, less blunt force and more subtlety - and if the story is better, with characters that I don't actually want to smack upside the head from the film's opening moments to its end, then it just might succeed in being the lush, transporting experience Bhansali intends it to be.
