Same problem: movie downloads fine to Mac player, plays fine on Mac player, syncs to Apple TV, shows up in Jaman Movie list on Apple TV, but does not play. Actually upon pressing the play button on the Apple remote I can hear about 2 sec of sound from the movie before the Apple TV jumps back to the Apple TV.

Software version of the Apple TV is 2.0.2

Hi strupat. I found that my Jaman plugin was not up to date. I wasn't into compiling my own patchstick so opted to go for AppleCore LLC's patch stick here...http://www.applecorellc.com/...(I have no relationship with the company) Its worked fine since. There have been loud complaints about the price of this product, given that most of the software on the compiled 'stick is actually free. However the creation of the 'stick was beyond me so I was reasonably happy paying. I'm simply happy to be watching Jaman movies on my LCD TV! There are other sites out there that'll help you make a patchstick for free if you understand the jargon. Hope this helps. jon

Strupat, I have the same thing happenning to me as you described. Movie starts with sound for a couple of seconds then ATV restarts and returns to main menu. Any resolution you find let me know too. I'll do the same. lou

I upgraded to Apple TV to firmware 2.1 and reinstalled the Jaman application. Unfortunately, the upgrade appears to have broken Jaman. Hopefully, the developers are looking into this problem.

FYI, we currently support AppleTV 2.2. We do not support 2.3.
