"...a joy to watch." -- fromthebalcony.com "...director Evers does a nice job of imbuing the film with a subtle, unforced sense of style." -- reelfilm.com
Part mystery thriller, part road movie, part love story. A concise and ingenuous gem that sparkles brightly from every facet.
In an effort to distance himself from his controlling parents in New York and to inject some spice into his staid life, Matt takes off for Mexico, where he builds houses in the countryside and where he also meets Sally, an untamed free spirit who’s not afraid to speak her mind. When Matt decides he’s ready to head back to New York, an envelope arrives with a note inside, informing him that his ailing grandfather has died. Also contained in the envelope is a computer disk, labeled simply: “It took me eighty years to find the meaning of life.” Since there are no computers where they live, Matt and Sally set off for the city to uncover the disk's contents. And on the way, they learn there are some mysteries of their own just waiting to be revealed. Directed By:
