A single room becomes the setting for four humorous and erotic stories, each featuring couples making up, breaking up, hooking up, or all of the above: On her birthday, a girl brings her boyfriend to the room with more than cake and candles on her mind; a professional meeting between a man and woman turns unexpectedly kinky; an older couple, drunk, stumble in to re-charge their sexual batteries; and, finally, ex-lovers meet here to try and re-kindle a long-lost spark. Each story's fevered with sexual longing, but, more than that, with human souls aching for intimacy and an end to their loneliness.
