Culture clash gives way to mad love in this politically sharp East-West romance set against the backdrop of a people determined to overcome war, and save their land and way of life. When a young British woman (Julie Cox) falls victim to Chechnyan insurgents, she finds shelter, companionship, and much more, courtesy of a proud, roguishly handsome local man (Andrei Chernishev). Slowly and fitfully, an exciting romance blooms between them, defying reason, tradition, even war.
